Day Charter · 8 hours · from NOK 88,000
The Whole Fjord,
all the way to Kjerag.
Eight hours, forty-two kilometres of granite, and the whole Lysefjord from its mouth to Lysebotn. Our most loved day.
EIGHT HOURS
From the mouth of the fjord
to the very end.
The longest day goes where the ferries hurry past. Beneath Preikestolen, past Hengjanefossen and the 4,444 wooden steps of Flørli, until Kjeragbolten appears, a boulder wedged between two cliffs almost a thousand metres above the water.
There is time for everything here: a swim, the waterskis, a long lunch, and the silence of the inner fjord once the engines stop.
THE ROUTE
Forty-two kilometres,
in the order you pass them.
- Preikestolen · the Pulpit Rock, 604 metres above the deck
- Hengjanefossen · a waterfall that drops straight down the cliff
- Flørli · no road, 4,444 wooden steps, and a helicopter flight if you wish
- Kjeragbolten · the boulder caught high in the mountain
- Lysebotn · the end of the fjord, and the long way home
ON FILM
The whole fjord,
on film.
A full day on the Lysefjord aboard Barolo III.
A bay no road reaches,
and the afternoon to yourselves.
AT THE TABLE
A long lunch,
cooked on board.
On the long day, many guests bring a private chef along. Seafood from the coast, cooked a few steps from the table and served at anchor in the inner fjord. Or choose from our day menu before you sail. See dining on board
YOUR HOSTS
A crew of three,
and a host who knows every cove.
Your captain takes care of the yacht. Helge, our host and a true local, takes care of you: the stories, the hidden bays and the moment to stop the engines. On request, a chef from the region cooks on board.
