Day Charter · 5 hours · from NOK 55,000

Beneath the Pulpit,
604 metres up.

Five hours into the Lysefjord, until Preikestolen stands straight above the deck. Our most popular day.

FIVE HOURS · MOST POPULAR

The Lysefjord
at its most dramatic.

Out through the islands and under the Lysefjord bridge, the walls close in and the water turns dark and deep. Then Preikestolen appears, a flat ledge of granite 604 metres above you. From below, it looks impossible.

Five hours fits comfortably into a day in port, which is why it is the favourite of guests arriving by cruise ship. Tell us your ship and its times, and we plan the day around them.

THE ROUTE

Into the fjord,
lunch beneath a waterfall.

  • Stavanger harbour · board in the city centre
  • The islands of Ryfylke · seals on the rocks if we are lucky
  • Preikestolen · the Pulpit Rock, 604 metres straight above the deck
  • Hengjanefossen · lunch at anchor, a few metres from the waterfall
  • Back to Stavanger · in good time for dinner, or your ship

ON FILM

The half day,
on film.

Five hours into the Lysefjord aboard Barolo III.

Narrow passages,
and time to drift.

Chef

AT THE TABLE

Lunch at anchor,
beneath the waterfall.

This is the day for a proper lunch. We stop the engines beneath Hengjanefossen, lay the table on deck and serve whatever you chose before sailing: our creamy fish soup, a seafood platter with king crab, or a menu from your own private chef. See dining on board

YOUR HOSTS

A crew of three,
and a host who knows every cove.

Your captain takes care of the yacht. Helge, our host and a true local, takes care of you: the stories, the hidden bays and the moment to stop the engines. On request, a chef from the region cooks on board.
