If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at [post@privatecruise.no](mailto:post@privatecruise.no). ### What we collect, and why - **Enquiries.** When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the number of guests, your preferred dates, what you are interested in and your message. We use this to answer you and to plan and price your charter. The legal basis is to take steps at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in following up your enquiry (art. 6(1)(f)). - **Live chat.** If you chat with us, we keep the conversation and any email address you leave, so we can answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your questions. - **Bookings.** When you book, we process the details needed to deliver your charter, such as names of guests and any dietary needs or preferences you choose to tell us. The legal basis is the contract with you. - **Newsletter.** If you sign up, we use your email address to send you news from the fjords. The legal basis is your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email. - **Website statistics.** If you accept cookies, we collect information about how the website is used, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. We use this to improve the website. The legal basis is your consent. ### Cookies When you first visit the website, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work are always set. Cookies for statistics (Google Analytics and HubSpot) are only set if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookies in your browser, after which the banner will appear again. ### Who we share your data with We never sell your personal data. We share it only with: - **HubSpot**, which runs our website, forms, chat, email and customer records. Your data is stored in HubSpot’s EU data centre. - **Google**, for website statistics (Google Analytics, only with your consent) and for spam protection on our forms (reCAPTCHA). - **Top the Fjords**, our booking partner, which handles enquiries and bookings on our behalf. - **Suppliers involved in your trip**, such as chefs, guides or helicopter operators, and only the details they need. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. When that happens, the transfer is protected by the EU’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. ### How long we keep your data - **Enquiries that do not lead to a booking:** up to 24 months after our last contact. - **Bookings:** for as long as Norwegian accounting law requires, normally five years. - **Newsletter:** until you unsubscribe. - **Website statistics:** up to 14 months. ### Your rights You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email [post@privatecruise.no](mailto:post@privatecruise.no). We will reply within 30 days. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet ([datatilsynet.no](https://www.datatilsynet.no)). ### Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. ![PrivateCruise-Norway-Logo-Original](https://www.privatecruisenorway.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Logo%20og%20presse/PrivateCruise-Norway-Logo-Header.png?width=270&height=55&name=PrivateCruise-Norway-Logo-Header.png "PrivateCruise-Norway-Logo-Original") Private Cruise is Stavanger’s leading high-end luxury private cruise & charter company.
